A small old-stylish typical Portuguese tavern but with young management and chef, delivering top typical portuguese traditional cuisine, especially "petiscos" and tapas. Filipe Nabais, a well-known visual artist from Lisboa, decided to open this small restaurant with careful attention to detail. I have tried at least 5 different dishes, small portions or "petiscos", and each one of them was exquisite in taste and flavour, balancing meat with season fruit (try Alheiras with Figos) or the fish soup, served inside a traditional alentejo bread.

A cozy place that brings wonders to the palate! First of all, the decoration, imaginative and reflective of an old (and not so long lost) Lisbon. Secondly, a very dedicated and friendly service. And finally, the main atraction with all it's side dishes: the food. We dwelled in portuguese delicatessen, the likes of "Cogumelos à Bulhão Pato", "Requeijão Panado em Redução de Vinho do Porto" and a "Sopa de Peixe". Mouth watering to the eyes and extremely delicious the rest of the way, all sprinkled with a very decent green wine. And in the end, a special treat as a dessert! It was all great, even the tab.

The food was excellent - their own cod tarts to start followed by duck. The young lady serving was friendly and helpful with excellent English and her attitude gave the small restaurant a great atmosphere. Whilst we were there we saw the fish soup which is served inside a loaf of bread so we had to go back a couple of nights later to try it. It was well worth it - truly delicious.

Great food, great service, amazing atmosphere. I had the duck and my partner had black pork, both were outstanding. What a wonderful little find in a back street of Lisbon!

Although tiny, this restaurant doesn't lack in superb service and excellent food. We loved it so much, we returned for lunch the next day - and more or less allowed the staff to choose what to serve. It was all delicious - cheese balls, seafood soup in a bread case, octopus stew were highlights.

Service was perfect & really immersive with descriptions of the concepts & preparations behind the dishes explained with passion. This also came through in the food, real twists on classic Portuguese cuisine with the cod filled takes on pastel de nata being a highlight. (...) I would wholeheartedly recommend a visit here to anyone that finds themselves in Lisbon and nothing but good luck to the guys running this for their continued success.

A small dive bar serving petiscos and tapas with a modern twist. The walls of the taberna are covered with old newspaper and magazine covers and pages. The mushrooms in bulhao de pato is delicious and juicy. Not something that is commonly served in Portuguese restaurants. The ingredients are fresh and the ambiance is inviting and relaxing. It's a nice place to meet up with friends and hav  e a few bites and wine.
